I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with this rental. The car overheated and became completely undrivable, leaving my family and me stranded about an hour away from home. To make matters worse, I had a baby in the car, which made the situation even more urgent and concerning.
Roadside assistance took far too long to arrive, and getting in touch with customer service was just as frustrating due to long wait times. When I contacted the host, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I would need to handle everything through Turo customer service, which added to the delay and stress.
This situation felt unsafe and poorly handled from start to finish. A vehicle should be properly maintained before being rented out, and there should be faster, more supportive assistance when emergencies like this happen especially when families are involved.
I would not recommend this rental based on my experience.
