The car provided is not the one I reserved. It was a Dodge Caravan. The host said the previous renter did not turn in the Chrysler on time. The problem is that the Dodge had a large crack in the windshield, the rear air conditioning did not work (it was mid/high 90s•F to 102•F while I rented the car), the check engine light was on the entire time, and the front seats were duct taped due to holes and tears (and the duct tape kept coming off; there is gummy stain on my pants and shorts from sitting on it). So what was I supposed to do if I was pulled over by law enforcement? I’m sure the car switch without documenting it in the Turo App is against policy. I will not rent from Turo again. This experience is enough to deter me from trying it again.
