Only issue I had was with the toddler car seat, otherwise the vehicle was in good shape and well maintained for a vehicle with over 106k miles on it. Tires were not balding and tire pressure monitoring system helped.
I got a flat tire driving on the NJ turnpike but didn’t realize it at first. The tire pressure monitoring system started alarming but noted all 4 tires were lit up green. Since the car was still driving fine, I initially thought this was an electrical issue but started pulling to the right lane just to double check. By the time I made it to the right lane, the rear passenger-side tire indicator turned orange and by the time I pulled over onto the shoulder, the tire was completely flat. Found the spare tire hidden below the floor behind the center console and was able to get the tire changed with the help of NJ TP Authority. Found a puncture hole in the tire which I later got plugged. Otherwise no issues with the vehicle itself.
Pickup and drop off were very convenient. My flight coming to EWR was delayed but the owner’s brother waited at the airport with the car till we finally made it to our destination late at nigh. David was waiting at the airport when we were flying out. Very convenient.
The only issue was the car seat which felt very unsturdy and old (Costco brand). Car seats actually expire after 7 to 10 years as the materials used weaken over time, putting the passenger at risk. I did inform David (the owner) who said he recently purchased the car seats but didn’t specify if they were new or used. I did pay $80 for 2 car seats but ended up only needing 1 (brought 1 car seat on the flight) so hopefully that money goes towards buying new car seats for future renters.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Rental Experience!
We had a fantastic experience renting this Honda Odyssey during our trip to New York. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, spacious, and perfect for our family. It drove great and made getting around the city and surrounding areas very easy.
What really stood out was the host’s exceptional service. They delivered the vehicle right as we were exiting the airport, which made our arrival completely stress-free. Communication was excellent throughout the entire rental, and everything was exactly as described.
I highly recommend both this Honda Odyssey and the host. We would definitely rent from them again on our next trip to New York!
