The car broke down on the side of the road it started smoking from under the hood the 2nd day but we had no choice we put the rest of our $$ into renting it to do what we had to do. The person should have never rented the car out it is sitting on the side of the road where it broke down. This car should not be on Turo and I guess I should read reviews better next time. I've always had a good experience with Turo. I can't wait to get my own car back.
Susan rented the car for 2 days and wouldn’t return it kept for additional 3 days. I was contacting her but was responding until I report as stolen the same day I did report she got the call from the law enforcement few minutes after the call she texted me where the car was located. She got upset because I reported her

I rented Chrysler Town & Country 2013 (~155k mi) for my family vacation trip to Pagosa Springs (long drive and a couple of steep downhills - e.g. 7% for 8miles).
When I drove down the hill, suddenly check-engine light(CEL) came up along with a thunderbolt sign on the dashboard. All family were freaked out and I had to drive on the downhill with minimum braking (My left foot was on the emergency brake being ready for hitting - I thought that sign was from a brake system failure, since it came out when I hit the bake multiple times). I was driving an unknown devil ("Better the devil you know than the devil you don't")
I contacted to the owner (Good thing is he is fast in responding.) and he assured me nothing was bad (it turned out that lightning bolt sign was related to cooling system thermometer. still no info about ECL). Anyway, I could drove home safely without any accident (Thanks God!).
Also, when I returned the car, I realized that two sliding doors cannot be not locked, even though I pressed the lock button from both remote and driver side control. So it was unlocked all the time during the trip without my knowledge - nothing was stolen thankfully.
Suggestions to TURO
1. Turo needs to ensure that there is no mechanical issues (ECL or other bashboard things)
2. Milage on the car should be in the information section - maybe I missed it.
