I rented this vehicle for a family vacation, but the experience was very disappointing. Shortly after starting our trip, the car began cutting off, making loud clunking noises, and jerking—it felt unsafe to drive, so we had to turn around and go back home.
This was during spring break, so finding a replacement was extremely difficult. I had already checked with the host beforehand about repairs due to past reviews, and was assured everything was fine. Then when he came to pickup the car, I was told the car had recently been in the shop for transmission issues—which clearly were not resolved.
I’ve requested a refund through Turo but hesitant to rent again.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our sincere apologies to you and your family
