The car was left in an ambiguous location (there were many elevators, and it was only near one). The car didn't have automatic AC. The car wouldn't start sometimes, requiring multiple tries when it was failing to start. The screen showed errors about the shifter, saying it was stuck until the car was turned off. The key fob died after 1 day (a previous reviewer mentioned the same problem). The host gave us an inadequate exchange car, didn't leave us the keys (they did return quickly with them), and lied to Turo about telling us ahead of time that the new car was smaller than the minivan we had originally rented (they did not). Their inventory lists several larger SUVs that they didn't offer us. They only showed us the listing for the exchange once we were physically next to the car, leaving us no opportunity to determine if it met our needs (it is missing basic features like anchor points for car seats and AC in the back) while two toddlers were screaming for dinner. They did not let us know where the new car was until after we left with only a vague "lot outside the airport" description. With all of the various delays it took a day and half to finish the exchange.

Customer service was very helpful when our key fob stopped working. Unfortunately, the host was not responsive when I reported the low battery warning g on the fob at pickup. It cost us the cancellation of several spa activities because the fob died. That could have been avoided if they responded to my initial concern upon pickup
