After many rentals through Turo, this is the first time I’ve felt the need to leave a disappointing review.
The van drove smoothly, but its condition at pickup was concerning. Both the exterior and interior were dirty, with a strong dog odor and dog hair throughout, including hair embedded in the carpet. We had to stop and clean it ourselves, which delayed the beginning of our trip by nearly an hour.
The rear passenger-side seatbelt was also inoperable, which I reported to the host. When I contacted him about the issues, he explained that the previous renters had told him they vacuumed and that his main concern that morning had been getting the oil changed before pickup. He apologized and offered to cover any tolls we incurred.
I appreciated his apology and offer, but the dog odor persisted. A family member who rode with us during a get-together also commented on the smell without prompting. While the ride itself was smooth, the van needed a thorough cleaning and all seatbelts checked for proper operation before being rented out.

The vehicle was in pristine condition and extremely better than other rent a car places like Fox rent a car at the airport. The vehicle was actually clean and had many cool features at a great price. Marshall provided great customer service and I highly recommend renting from him.
