Very nice vehicle at a great rate. Communication And explanations were clear and thorough. I would have appreciated if there had been some charge in the electric battery, instead of none, but the mileage on the vehicle was still efficient.

Thank you again for choosing us.about your question about the battery, I want to explain to you that this car is a PHEV car. It can only travel 30 miles on a full charge, and it will consume electricity first, so the car you get has no electricity.
The car is very nice, spacious, and clean. It fit our purpose of a road trip with 6 adults and our luggage. It drives easy and is equipped with nice features.
Why it’s not a 5 star: 1) the right side mirror was cracked and hard to see out of. 2) some of the buttons (passenger window, AC temp) were not functioning. 3) the battery was not charged and so it did not operate as a hybrid vehicle.
All in all, I would book this again. It’s great value for the price, and exactly what we were looking for.

i’ve gone back and forth on this review and what i should say. we ended up having a problem where the tire blew while driving. the tire had a bubble on the inside wall. now here’s the thing no one knows that happen until it’s too late so that was entirely out of the hosts hands. the way the host handled the situation is why my review is so high. they were so responsive the entire time, went through the steps in which i needed to take in this situation. did this put a little bit of a damper on our trip? sure absolutely but the host was amazing.

To be perfectly honest I hadn't planned on writing a review until Turo completed their investigation into my complaint. But the outcome of that will have no bearing on the experience I already have had. Initially, when I arrived to the car and located the key, it wasn't stored in a lockbox as the listing detailed. Instead the key was inside of the gas door to this unlocked vehicle. Then, upon inspection of the vehicle we noticed the right, passenger sideview mirror was damaged, extensively. Anyone driving in the United States, knows how important the side view mirror is to driver safety and this information was not disclosed prior to renting the vehicle. The vehicle in its current state would not pass a state inspection. When I reached out to the owner, they stated they were of aware of the damaged mirror and it would be fixed in the next week. Had I side swiped someone because that safety coverage was not there, that responsibility would have been on me. The vehicle had many small issues that need to be addressed as well. All in all, I would not recommend this vehicle not be rented until it is fully brought up to function properly.

Accept your blame for the damage to the rearview mirror. But to be corrected, there is only one crack in the rearview mirror, which is not a serious threat to safety. The reason why we have to wait until next week for repairs is that 1 takes time to order parts. 2 if we cancel your trip,You'll be stuck at the airport, which I don't think anyone wants to see. The reason you gave me a bad review is because I charged you for no gas and parking fees
