If I could give zero stars, I would.

The vehicle I received was not accurately represented by the listing photos. The exterior had numerous scratches, dents, and a front bumper that appeared to have been glued back together. The interior was dirty, with stained seats and seatbelts.

The passenger-side sliding door did not function properly. When using the automatic feature, it would not fully seal. When I contacted the host, she stated she had sprayed WD-40 on it before pickup and suggested we avoid using that door and use only the driver’s side instead. For a large family renting a minivan specifically for convenience, this was a major issue.

Additional problems included a blown passenger-side speaker, a rear hatch that frequently failed to latch, significant shaking while driving, and hard shifting between first and second gear.

The most serious issue occurred when we experienced a flat tire after driving less than 60 miles. The host acknowledged the tire had previously been plugged and repeatedly insisted we simply add air. In heavy rain, we unloaded the entire van to access the spare tire, only to discover the tools needed to lower the spare and operate the jack were missing. Fortunately, workers at a nearby job site lent us their tools and assisted us. We then discovered the spare tire was also flat.

The tire shop informed us the nail was embedded in the sidewall and appeared to have been there for some time, causing a slow leak. The host initially agreed to cover the replacement tire but later refused, eventually agreeing to pay only half after considerable discussion.

Throughout the rental, the host consistently denied responsibility and blamed previous renters or suggested the issues did not exist before pickup. The vehicle showed clear signs of deferred maintenance and was not in the condition I would expect for a rental available to the public.

I’ve used Turo before and had positive experiences, but this rental was the complete opposite. Unfortunately, it has made me reconsider using the platform again.

This version documents the problems clearly while maintaining credibility and professionalism.

The car was in good condition. The pickup location was accessible and well maintained. The host was pleasant. She was also available for questions and returned messages in a timely manner.

Breyanna was an excellent host and the car was in perfect shape definitely made my family’s road trip wonderful!

While arriving to pick up the vehicle I noticed that there was no key to enter the vehicle. I immediately contacted the host and she stated that she had the key so I would have to wait 5 minutes for her to bring it to me. She arrived 40 minutes later with the key and no apology was given or anything. Very unprofessional. I couldn’t arrive at my destination in time because I had to wait for her to bring the key.

The location and pickup were fine. It got the job done. However, the car has lots of scratches in the exterior and interior. The power sliding doors for both sides won’t work, they had to be manually opened and closed. Also, the power tailgate had the same issues; it had to be manually opened and closed.

The van is a rental car and other clients have caused damaged and refused to pay for it. Plus scratches come from the car wash. However the van drives great and has no issues only cosmetically. The doors worked perfectly fine however when clients force it close that is why the doors dont shut properly.
