The owner was great and very communicative throughout the rental, and I appreciate his responsiveness. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by several issues with the vehicle. We spent approximately 12 hours driving to our destination, and the biggest problem was that the A/C was not working properly. With the extreme heat, the drive was very uncomfortable and miserable.
I also had to go out of my way to purchase Freon and antifreeze/coolant for the vehicle during our trip. The owner did reimburse me for the expenses, which I appreciate, but these additional expenses and inconveniences should not have been necessary if the vehicle had been properly maintained before the rental.
Overall, I believe the vehicle needs better maintenance to ensure a more comfortable and reliable experience for future renters.
