This was a great car to rent. Really easy to drive it made our whole trip easier to pack extra gear. We wanted to extend our trip by another day and it was so easy to add on another day for a reasonable price. Overall great experience.

This was the only negative experience I’ve had using Turo. The app automatically reset my pickup time to 10:00 AM, which appears to be the default start time. Richard advised me to rebook the reservation and stated that Turo would issue a refund. However, after contacting Turo, I was informed that the refund decision was at the host’s discretion. Richard ultimately declined to provide a refund, resulting in me being charged twice.
Communication was also an issue, as messages were read but not responded to. Additionally, the vehicle itself was not in acceptable condition. It had a noticeable engine tick, the backup camera was nonfunctional, windshield wiper fluid was empty, and the stereo system did not allow phone connectivity. There were also cleanliness concerns, as my daughter found a woman’s acrylic nail in the cup holder.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend renting from this host.
