Car kept cut off when you turn the wheel and car smoke light burn oil

The car was not working in the last day that we took, and we had to wait 16 hours in a gas station while it’s the first time we experienced snow ,and waiting for someone to respond. The owner did not have backup plans ..
We stocked with no help neither from the owner or turo , but gratefully, I thanked turo for the fully refund for this trip , they even refunded us on uber bills when we had to return to our city.
With regards.
