Clean car. Typical Honda rotor issues which was not enjoyable. Got us there, was comfortable. No navigation system or adaptive cruise control for those road tripping. Easy pick up and drop off.

I like that the car was waiting at the airport when I arrived. It was easy to locate. However….when I got on the highway and had to slow down to let a car merge, the steering wheel shook and the tires felt like they were going to shake the steering wheel loose. I tested that a couple more times and it did the same thing. I asked the agent about it and he said that the last renter rode the brakes and they fixed some stuff but now it seems like they will have to fix more. I was never offered a replacement or anything. Then at drop off he messaged and asked me to drop it somewhere else. I said he would have to do that in the app. He said it’s fine and I can just drop it off where he said the new place could be dropped at. I said no, because we risk fines/penalties from Turo if it’s not done properly. I wanted to use the car to go see my 85 and 83 y/o parents. They live a couple hours from where I was staying. But I didn’t feel safe in that car. So I couldn’t go see them. I may never get a chance to see my parents alive again. I am angry that this happened and not happy that he couldn’t have given me a different vehicle. It seemed as though He was not concerned about my safety. The car was clean and it started on those cold mornings. The agent was quick to communicate. But that shaking was downright scary. I feel like I completely wasted money renting a car. The whole point of me renting was to be able to drive and see my parents.
I’m truly sorry to hear you had a negative experience. While I stand by the safety of the vehicle’s brakes, I never want a guest to feel uneasy. Had I known you felt this way during the trip, I would have happily exchanged the car for you immediately. Regarding the drop-off, I apologize for any confusion; location changes can be requested directly through the app to save you time and cost. I appreciate the feedback and wish your trip had gone more smoothly.
