I drove this vehicle for about 1,500 miles during our trip, and mechanically it performed very well. The ride was comfortable, and I did not experience any issues with the vehicle.
The pickup and drop-off process was also very convenient. As long as you can get to the listed address, both pickup and return are straightforward and easy.
One thing that really impressed me was the fuel efficiency. For a vehicle of this size and weight, the mileage was excellent, and it definitely showcased the advantages of a hybrid minivan.
One thing to note is that the vehicle does not have Apple CarPlay. This may have been mentioned in the listing and I simply overlooked it, but future renters may want to keep that in mind.
My biggest concern was the cleanliness of the interior. It is possible that the previous renter was responsible, but the vehicle was noticeably dirty when we picked it up. There was trash left inside, along with unknown stains, sticky surfaces, and a significant amount of dust. The four of us spent over 30 minutes cleaning various areas before starting our trip.
The windshield wipers, both front and rear, also appeared to be overdue for replacement. We encountered rain during our travels, and while it was manageable for me, I believe it could be a safety concern for less experienced drivers.
As for practicality, the minivan offers tremendous interior space. Although it can seat up to eight passengers, our group folded and removed the extra seats, leaving only four in use. This created an exceptionally spacious cargo area and made the trip much more comfortable.
Overall, the vehicle itself was reliable, comfortable, and fuel-efficient, but the cleanliness and maintenance items could use some attention.
The vehicle absolutely has Apple CarPlay. If you were unable to connect it, a quick message would have solved it in under a minute instead of incorrectly stating the feature doesn’t exist.
Regarding cleanliness, pre-trip photos are always taken before pickup and document the vehicle’s condition clearly.
The vehicle is regularly maintained, including safety items such as wipers, and no issues had been reported previously.
