Car itself was new and very clean. Host was nice and dropoff/pickup was smooth. Only surprise was that I was charged a late fee even though I messaged the host to let them know that I was running late due to traffic and they said it was okay. I was already paying for the full day, so it didn't seem fair to charge me a hefty late fee when I was less than an hour late, got approval from the host, and was anyway within a 24 hour period I already paid for in full. Turo said I should have extended the trip in the app, but that is not practical when you are driving in traffic to return the car. This was my first Turo rental and I miss the traditional rental car experience where they are much more flexible on these types of issues.
