Vehicle was exceptional except damage to the front end ruined my special wedding night and had to shorten the rental because of it. There was a lack of information of how to pick up the vehicle and where to drop it off. Otherwise sweet ride, really nice drive just unfortunate that we weren’t able to keep our vehicle for the original duration we had wanted due to the damage done by the previous renter. Interior was slightly dirty and vehicle needed to be washed and should definitely be professionally buffed as well.

Extremely disappointing rental experience, both with the Corvette’s condition and the host’s response to legitimate concerns.
The car was not properly cleaned before pickup. We found plastic utensils, gum wrappers, a random phone, miscellaneous items, multiple towels and rags including wet ones, and several spiders. The host insisted the vehicle had been thoroughly cleaned, while also suggesting those items were left by a previous guest. A proper cleaning should have identified and removed them.
More concerning, the vehicle pulled aggressively to the right at highway speeds, raising serious concerns about its alignment and maintenance.
After highway driving, I stopped for gas and discovered a section of the front skirt/splitter loose and dangling, with clear tape underneath it. That tape was hidden beneath the car and would not have been visible during a normal walkaround. After reviewing the host’s own pre-trip photographs, I identified what appear to be hairline cracks in the same area and provided screenshots with those areas marked in red.
I cannot say who applied the tape—it could have been the host, a previous guest, or someone else—but I dispute responsibility for the underlying damage. Rather than carefully investigating what I reported, the host accused me of causing it and indicated I would be charged.
I own a Corvette myself and treated this car with care. I reported the loose section because I respected the vehicle and wanted to prevent further damage. Being met with accusations instead of a reasonable investigation was unacceptable.
Between the dirty interior, the steering concerns, the taped splitter, and the host’s handling of the situation, I would not rent this vehicle or book with this host again.

Your statements contradict each other. You told both us and Turo that the front lip flew off while driving on the expressway. If it flew off during your trip, how did it end up taped afterward? Our timestamped pre-trip photos clearly show the lip intact with no tape or damage. You drove roughly 200 miles and had the vehicle for over a day before reporting this. We stand behind our documentation and will let the evidence speak for itself.
