The car was fantastic, and the host was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Everything went smoothly, and he was right on time for both pickup and drop-off. Overall, a great experience!

Unusable vehicle
Lied about refund.
Vehicle was not drivable, would not accelerate, unsafe to drive my child in. I notified the host upon the first drive less than 8 hours after they dropped off.
Was told not to bother Turo customer support as it would delay repair. Co host sent a mechanic, the next morning, approximately 22 hours after drop off. Mechanic left without talking to us, no host reached out to us until after I reached out to them asking the result. Host team picked up the vehicle 25 hours, 42 minutes after rental/trip began, with no further instruction. After another few hours of non communication while my trip was running, but they had that vehicle I finally reached out to Turo directly, where I was able to provide time stamped video evidence of the pickup. Turo issued a refund of 37% of the trip even though I had only "used" roughly 31% of my rental time. Co host stated they would refund/authorize the balance.
After 3 additional conversations with the co-hosts, where they told me they had requested Turo refund the balance, and 3 more with Turo I was finally able to get my refund from Turo, who confirmed they never got a refund request from the host team.
Two stars only because they did send a mechanic to try to resolve the issue.
