Car was spot on and I was able to enjoy my birthday

I unfortunately had a really bad experience due to the overwhelming weed smell throughout the vehicle. The odor hit immediately when opening the doors or trunk before even getting inside. It was extremely strong and clearly embedded into the car.
Each person I had in the car independently commented on the smell because it is so strong. The odor was so strong that I did not feel comfortable transporting my nephew in the vehicle. After driving, the smell lingered on my clothes and even on my hands from touching the steering wheel.
Aside from the smell issue, the car was not presented in a condition that felt clean or professionally prepared for the next renter. I understand that hosts may not always be aware of lingering odors, but this was severe enough that it impacted my ability to comfortably use the vehicle for normal transportatio
I would strongly recommend the host thoroughly deep clean and deodorize the interior before renting this car to future guests or disclose this smell.
I contacted the owner to complain and they acknowledged the weed smell and offered no solution or accommodation for this issue. I do not recommend.
When I retrieved the car there was no strong weed smell. If it bothered you that much you could’ve returned the vehicle but you chose to stay in it. My cars are clean and disinfected by me personally.

Car was great. Worked well. No issues. Had to adjust to the interface but it was pretty easy once I got the hang of it. Wasn’t aware of how charging worked but it was very simple. Owner is very accommodating and reasonable. My second time rental a vehicle from him. Thanks again.
