The car its was clean, it ran good.

The car’s brakes were so low on brake fluid that it got to the point where we had to buy brake fluid to keep the car from skidding off the road. The windshield wipers were completely worn down to the point where it was easier to see in the rain when not using them. When changing the brake fluid we were able to see that multiple parts of the engine had been duct-taped together, and the passenger handle was hanging on by a corner. If we weren’t desperate since Turo had cancelled our previous car and left us stranded at the airport, we would’ve never set foot in that broken down car. Turo also cancelled the roadside assistance that we previously had on our trip so they wound up charging us $100 for their mechanic to come out and press a button to unlock the vehicle.
