Unfortunately, I would not recommend this vehicle. The photos make the vehicle appear to be in good, damage-free condition, but that was not what I received. In person, the vehicle has multiple scratches and dents throughout. The interior also had an unpleasant odor and was not clean when I picked it up.
The check engine light was already on at pickup, and from the beginning I noticed shaking through the steering wheel as well as a loud noise when turning.
During my trip, a tire failed and I had to take the vehicle to a tire shop. The technician advised me that the tire was deteriorated and that another tire on the vehicle also needed to be replaced. To make matters worse, the spare tire in the trunk had no air in it when I actually needed it, leaving me without a usable spare.
I ended up paying out of pocket to replace a tire on a vehicle I was only renting. What made the experience even more frustrating was feeling as though my concerns were being dismissed when I communicated these issues to the host.
I rented this vehicle expecting a clean, safe, reliable, and comfortable way to visit my family. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I received. Between the condition of the vehicle, cleanliness, mechanical issues, tire failure, unusable spare, and the way my concerns were handled, I was extremely disappointed with this rental. I believe this vehicle should be thoroughly inspected before being rented to another guest.
