My experience with this host was extremely disappointing. Upon opening the vehicle, I was immediately greeted by a live roach, and the car had a strong odor of roach spray, which raised serious concerns about the vehicle’s cleanliness and condition. The interior was visibly dirty, poorly maintained, and unpleasant to be in.

The pickup process was also frustrating. I was provided with incorrect instructions regarding the vehicle entry and key location. When I contacted the host for clarification, I waited approximately 20 minutes for a response. I was then told the key was located inside the gas cap, but when I checked, it was not there. After additional confusion, I eventually found the key left on the front passenger-side wheel.

The host initially stated that a vehicle swap could be arranged due to the condition of the car. However, when Turo attempted to contact the host regarding the issue, she did not answer or respond. Only after I decided to switch to a different host’s vehicle did she suddenly become available and responsive.

Given the roach infestation concerns, strong chemical odor, poor cleanliness, inaccurate pickup instructions, and lack of timely communication, I was unable to comfortably or confidently use the vehicle. Despite all of these issues, I was still charged $66 for a car that I could not drive.

I believe this vehicle should be thoroughly inspected and professionally cleaned before being listed again. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this host based on my experience.

I enjoyed my stay having the car around. Pick up and drop off was seamless. The car is in good condition. I would like to rent the car again when I come back to Florida.

The only problem looks like the back bumper loosened up more as you see in the picture in the beginning of my trip
