I rented a car through Turo that broke down during my reservation and had to be replaced. As a result, I lost an entire day of use and spent a significant amount of money on Ubers, in addition to losing several hours dealing with the situation.
While the host did provide basic support in arranging a replacement, he refused to offer any form of discount or compensation for the inconvenience, lost time and use, or out-of-pocket expenses.
A fair discount should have been provided
This experience caused unnecessary stress and financial loss, and I feel it reflects a lack of integrity and accountability in how the issue was handled. Overall, this was not a satisfactory customer experience.
