Sean was a fantastic host, cordial and punctual, easygoing and friendly. The car needed a little TLC though, it was burning a little oil so some smoke seeped up through the hood/fenders, the check engine light went on and off, and a tire had a slow leak. Five stars because I don’t want to impact his rating, he was a lovely host, but a little “spa day” at Johann’s European might be in order for the Mini, soon. Was a bit anxious that we may have a big issue during our rental, but it kept running…

The drop off and communication were both great. The car was fun to drive with the top down, but looked very tired inside and when the roof was up it rattled a little bit inside as a part in the back passenger side roof was loose, so it made a noise. The engine warning light also came on during the first afternoon of having the car, which was a little disconcerting! The car has done over 100,000 miles so it’s pretty tired both externally and internally at this point. Overall Sean was great to deal with, but the car itself I wouldn’t use again or recommend for the price.
I appreciate your feedback, and the way you took care of the car..I do have to say, it's not a Lexus SUV, of course it's not going to be road quiet, also it being a soft top convertible, it's going to be a little loud from road surfaces lol..like a little go cart, very fun to drive, but it's not a luxury vehicle...50 dollars a day I'm hoping you weren't expecting a Lamborghini Yurus...🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn't recommend you picking a small car, especially of Mini size, if you aren't used to road noise..
