The vehicle drove well and I had no issues during the trip. However, after returning the vehicle in low-light conditions to catch a flight, I was notified of a hairline windshield crack that I had not noticed during the rental. This resulted in a damage claim and additional charges despite there being no collision or accident during my trip. My advice to future renters is to thoroughly document the vehicle at pickup and return and strongly consider purchasing a protection plan, as even very minor damage claims can become expensive.
Guest did not upload pre-trip photos and returned the vehicle without completing checkout, despite having 18 prior Turo trips. I documented the vehicle with over 140 photos showing the windshield damage appeared after the trip. The claim was approved based on this evidence, and I still paid a $200 deductible out of pocket. Tire pressure was normal before and after the trip, and Tesla would have alerted the driver to any issue. I would not rent to this guest again.
