James is a great host; he was proactive and reached out in advance of the trip about a cosmetic issue caused by a previous renter. The issue didn't affect the operation of the car; it didn't need to be fixed immediately but we could meet up during the trip if needed. The car was visibly clean. Unfortunately, someone had smoked in the car prior to my trip; the odor was overwhelming. I aired out the car whenever possible and James had included air fresheners; however, the scent lingered. I recommend James as a host. The trip is a cost effective option for seeking a rental.
