THE ONLY MANUAL TRANSMISSION MIATA IN THE WASHINGTON, DC REGION IN GRAND TOURING TRIM! Almost 150 Turo trips and still going strong! Come rent a great Miata from a centrally-located Power Host. Our cars aren't way out in Reston or Herndon or Springfield or College Park or Upper Marlboro (not that there's anything wrong with those places) -- we are located right in DC, right between Georgetown and the National Cathedral. Easy pickup, easy drop-off, from a host with hundreds of 5-star reviews. Who says convertibles are only for summer? When we listed this, it was the only Miata -- now it's the only red one! It still might be the only Miata RF with the hard top. Our Miata has all-season tires, new rear tires, and new brakes. We keep this car well maintained because we know people like to take in on twisty roads! The RF version (retractable fastback) is also better for cooler or inclement weather. So don't think of this just as a summer or sunshine car! It's ALMOST as fun with the top up! Of course, if you are looking up the Miata, you know what it is. It's a blast to drive. Just read any car review over the last 20 years and this is almost always the "best affordable sportscar." It’s not about the power, it’s about the fun factor! Our car is a beautiful Soul Red with a Black Leather interior, the only Miata on Turo in Grand Touring trim, and a manual transmission, like all Miatas should have. I thought about getting automatic for this car to broaden the possible customers who could rent it – but seriously, anyone who wants to drive a Miata and knows the car will want to drive the manual. That's my theory, anyway. So please make sure before booking this car that you are proficient with a manual transmission. The RF "retractable fastback" means it's a convertible but when you close the roof, it's a hardtop instead of cloth. Kind of like a 911 Targa. This makes the car a little bit stiffer on curvy roads, and also a little better in inclement weather (better shelter from the elements). Basically, with the top up, it's like a Miata coupe and quieter to drive -- but just as fun! I like the looks of the RF a lot. It’s like the best of both worlds – convertible in good weather, coupe in bad weather. My "niche" on Turo is that I have cars that are unusual or unique in this region, rather than one of 80 Teslas (not that there's anything wrong with Teslas, it’s just not what I do). I have a Shelby GT 350 Mustang, a Porsche 911, a Porsche Boxster GTS, the only Mini Countryman with Iconic trim, the only BMW E46 M3, the only Audi S3, the only Volkswagen Golf R Turo on the whole East Coast, etc. I hope people looking for a unique experience will come back and rent multiple cars from me (one at a time, of course). As you can tell from my reviews, I want to make everyone's rentals easy and fun. Here are a couple of recent reviews of the Miata so you can see how much people love it -- the "everyday supercar." https://www.caranddriver.com/mazda/mx-5-miata-2020 https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/reviews/2020-mazda-mx-5-miata-review/ Please be nice to my cars. Gas them up with premium fuel, keep them clean, don't smoke, no pets without prior permission. Take them out clean, return them clean. Finally, all my cars have trackers to watch for crazy behavior. I want people to have fun, but I also want (and expect) that my investments will get treated with respect. That's it, not a lot of rules and no made-up fees. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you!

The cars will be located NEAR this address but not at it. I use this address as a central location in the neighborhood and so guests know the general area (very safe, near the National Cathedral) where my cars are located.
You can eat and drink and have your pet along for a fun ride with the top down (if they have a seatbelt). Just return the car clean and without dog hair.
I live in a neighborhood in Washington, DC where there is plenty of street parking within a block or two of where the car will be parked. They ticket for residential parking (Zone 3) on occasion, but not all the time. and never on weekends. If you're renting during the week, I may be able to print you a Guest Parking Pass for $10 a day -- let me know.

Car was clean and so much fun!

The Miata was great especially for a car with that sort of mileage. Pickup was smooth and Jeff did a good job communicating all the necessary info. This was my first Turo experience and I couldn't have asked for better!

Renting this host’s MX-5 was an exquisite experience. The vehicle is nicely maintained, shows sign of enjoyment but is completely and utterly ready for your next adventure with your significant other or just to enjoy for the weekend. The Host is excellently communicative and fuel economy on this sporty little unit is superb. Thanks for letting my fiancée and myself enjoy your vehicle!
Thanks for the very nice review!
