I’ve been renting through Turo for the past five years, and this was by far the worst vehicle I’ve ever received.
The car had what appeared to be a serious transmission problem, making it feel unsafe to drive. The front windshield was permanently covered with a filthy film that significantly reduced visibility, even after attempting to clean it. Safety should always come first, and this vehicle did not meet that standard.
The listing also advertised Bluetooth capability, but it didn’t work. There wasn’t even an AUX cord provided as an alternative, so I had no reliable way to use hands-free audio or navigation.
Overall, this vehicle was unsafe, poorly maintained, and did not match the listing. It should never have been available for rent in its condition. I expect much better quality control from Turo, and I hope this vehicle is thoroughly inspected before being rented to anyone else.
