Bao was quick to respond whenever I had questions and provided great instructions. However, the car itself was a completely different story. The car was in very poor condition and felt like it was falling apart like Lego pieces. The driver-side window button would literally fall off whenever I tried to roll the window up. There were scratches on the back of the driver’s seat, stains on the ceiling, and the control for adjusting the passenger seat was broken off.
On top of the condition of the vehicle, the car would not hold a charge. I drove less than 30 miles, and the battery had dropped significantly during that short distance.
This was my first time ever using Turo, and unfortunately, after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be using Turo again. Bao was great to communicate with, but the condition and performance of the vehicle really ruined the experience.
