mechanically, car worked fine. the seats are a bit worn/thin, but worse was that the car smelled very strongly of smoke.

Booked this car two weeks in advance, upon pick up I was shocked at how filthy the entire car was. There was literally still ash everywhere from the previous guest breaking the “no smoking” promise. I then came to see there were many more issues. This experience caused unbelievable inconvenience, it’s sad that a previous renter had to completely ruin this and I’d like to believe that they were responsible for the maintenance issues also. The condition was just terrible in every way.

The car was cleaned and treated with an ozone machine before your trip. It appears a previous guest did not fully follow the no-smoking policy, and some residue may have been missed during inspection. I have since added an extra check to prevent this.
The vehicle was safe and fully operational; the alert noted was a routine service reminder.
I appreciate your input and remain committed to a clean, reliable experience.
