Pick up location was great. Meant a lot that the host meet me at the airport on time.. He asked for my flight, but he didn’t check to see how it got delayed, which I did inform him as I got updates. The windshield washing reservoir was leaking which caused a whole bunch of glare, I went out and bought some windshield wiper fluid and then I noticed later there was actively leaking and it could only hold one or two window cleanings. I of course, informed him of that. On the second day of the trip. I noticed tire was low. I didn’t know if it just happened to be low because the temperature change or in fact it was having a slow leak. I filled it up about three times over the course of the rental. The last being this morning. I then informed him of this leak. We also noticed that the car was having a hard and harder time to start, meaning either the alternator or the battery was slowly failing. We did describe that to him in advance the day before. The day of the return, the car would not start and I had to get a stranger to jump me to get to the airport on time. The condition with the battery prevented us from filling up the car because needs to be turned off to refill it. We do understand there’s an up charge for that. Also the driver’s seatbelt buckle doesn’t latch every single time. We’re not looking for a refund. We just want the car to be in better shape. With all of these problems it seems like the maintenance is being differed.
