Stay away from this host. The Tesla was delivered in poor condition—the A/C didn’t work and the speakers were completely blown. The host admitted the previous guest likely caused the speaker damage, proving he didn't properly inspect the car before my trip.
Despite admitting the car wasn't "up to par" and promising to waive over-mileage fees as compensation in our Turo chat, he went back on his word and charged me anyway. To make matters worse, he filed a fake, retaliatory damage claim for a minor pre-existing bumper scrape that falls under Turo's standard wear and tear policy. Dishonest host renting out a poorly maintained vehicle. Document every inch of the car and all conversations if you decide to risk it.
First I was going to waive the fees until you lied about everything. The speakers are not blown. The AC works fine(you had it on the wrong setting.(can’t help if you know nothing about teslas) You tried to extend the trip by paying me directly to avoid the Turo fees(major Turo violation) And I have photo evidence the bumper was in excellent condition going out and a sensor knocked out of the bumper when it returned(proving you’re lying) These are the guest Turo needs to ban from the platform!

Great host and a even better car. So much fun to drive. Compared to traditional gas prices Tesla charge is pretty reasonable and just as effective economically.
