Nice car just couldn’t use it for a long distance trip

The car was overall good and drove smoothly. However, there were several issues that made the experience less comfortable and reassuring than expected.
It was quite difficult to communicate with the host, as responses were often delayed. The car we originally booked was totaled, which I completely understand was unexpected, and the host provided a replacement. However, the replacement vehicle appeared to be overdue for several services. The oil change was due, and all of the tires were extremely worn, which made us concerned about safety during the trip. Because of the tire condition, we had to cancel one of our planned trips.
The car acceleration pickup experience was okay, although it could have been smoother. Additionally, the listing indicated that the car had Apple CarPlay, but it did not. This made navigation difficult, and we ended up having to purchase a phone holder specifically for the trip. It would have been much more helpful if the listing had accurately reflected the vehicle’s features.
Overall, if the vehicle had been properly serviced and the listing had accurately described its features, we would have felt much safer and more comfortable throughout our trip. The overdue maintenance, worn tire, lack of navigation/CarPlay, and communication and pickup issues left us feeling uncertain for much of the trip. That said, the host was friendly, and the car itself drove smoothly. With better maintenance and a more accurate listing, this could have been a much better experience.
