Beware…
The photos of the vehicle were misleading, as they did not accurately show its true condition. The front grill was completely missing, there were rust holes on both sides, and the seats had obvious wear and tear. The online listing did not mention these damages; I only learned about them from the owner when he handed me the keys. He claimed the car was in good running order and had new tires, but as soon as I started driving, the low tire pressure warning came on. If it hadn't been for an emergency that required immediate transportation, I wouldn't have rented this car because it did not match its online description or TURO's high standards. Additionally, the owner charged me $38.65 which came to $53.89 after fees for returning the car with 1/8 less fuel than when I picked it up, presenting a receipt for 9 gallons to show what was needed to refill the tank.
