First things first: Chen seems like a nice guy and the Maserati Ghibli is (despite all its bad reviews) actually a pretty decent car. Pricing very fair from Chen as well! As for the rental itself: There were a few things that were quite unpleasant. First, we had to wait a full 1.5 hours at the office for Chen and the car. We kept getting put off to later and later times without being given a clear time. Then, after waiting 90 minutes, the car was in really bad shape. There was an enormous amount of pre-existing damage and scratches, and the interior was mostly dirty, especially the back seat, which still had trash, bleach, and a lot of grime. There was no room in the trunk for suitcases or any other items because there was a spare tire in the car that took up the entire trunk. Maybe we just had some bad luck and things usually go better. At least I would hope that.
