Love the car!! Great gas mileage. Owner was on time for drop off and left it clean. Unfortunately did have a slight scent of smoke but not overbearing.

The car was clean and as described but at pickup the car was unlocked with the key in it in the airport parking garage. We arrived an hr late - and that seemed very unsafe . We drove to our vrbo and identified we were unable to lock the door with the key fob. messaged host and they told us to use the hard key in the key fob to lock the door. Next morning the car alarm went off like we were stealing it when we tried to unlock with the hard key. Host recommended to replace battery- 2 stops later we found a battery but that did not fix problem. When we asked to get replacement key - host said with their work schedules they were unable to drive the hr to us to replace. So for the duration of our rental at least 5-6 times the alarm would go off like we were stealing it. Host suggested to just leave car unlocked and take our possessions. This was a inconvenience and a safety risk that made us uncomfortable . Car showed maintenance notifications. Host said they were unaware of the key fob issue but leaving car unlocked at pickup and the look of the key fob (scratched around area of the hard key) made us doubtful. Love turo but this was first time we have ran into issues of inconvience and safety issues .

It's very surprising to receive a one-star review over a key fob issue. We provided a clean, well-maintained vehicle exactly as described. The only issue was with the remote locking function, while the car could still be locked using the physical key. We understand the inconvenience, but we believe a one-star rating for this issue is completely unfair and disproportionate.
Car ran well and was kept tidy. There was a hiccup during pick up and we were not able to pick up the car, not to the fault of the host, however they paid for the Lyft ride and promptly delivered the vehicle afterwards. Host was nice and responsive and I would book again.
