This host was so accommodating, which I really appreciated after a different host no-showed on me and I was stuck at the airport. Thank you so much!!!

The Tesla itself was great and the owner was very communicative throughout the rental, which I appreciated. However, the overall Turo experience was not what I expected.
The biggest surprise was the number of extra costs. I had to pay to exit the parking lot where the vehicle was located, and that was not disclosed beforehand. The Tesla charging and recharging process was also not explained very clearly for someone not familiar with EV rentals, and the charging costs became yet another added expense during the trip.
Another issue was insurance. My personal auto insurance would not cover a Turo rental, so I had to purchase Turo’s coverage, which significantly increased the total cost. Between the insurance, charging costs, parking charges, fees, and other add-ons, this ended up being a very expensive 6-day rental. A traditional rental car company would have been much cheaper overall.
The host was responsive and the vehicle itself was fine, but because of the overall pricing structure and added costs, I personally would not use Turo again.
