Kinda dirty when we picked it up but the car got us from A to B no issues. We’re just grateful to have a car while traveling

Let’s start by saying I’ve rented several times from Turo and have never had a bad experience until now. Hours before the trip started I had to remind the host to review my drivers license to get approval. We arrive at the airport and it states keys are in lockbox. In which the key was in the center console completely unlocked. So I’m sure I would have been liable should something happed. The car reeked of marijuana and actually has some in the back floor that we had to discard. The car was dropped off with 1/3 of a tank and no slip to exit the short term parking lot. So we were fined at the gate to leave for a lost ticket. When trying to call the host they wouldn’t pick up but would text me. To top it off; we ordered beach gear to be delivered with the car. The car didn’t have any in it. They stated they would drop it off to me tomorrow. As I paid for the gear for all days. DO NOT RENT THIS - unless you want a midnight headache like I had. Turo has replaced a different car for us.

I didn’t know how to access lock box… because the car didn’t have a lock box. The car was car was unlocked (which is risky for me and Turo.) I figured that out after 15 minutes waiting for message return which didn’t happen. Interior of car was dirty. I was charged $46 to exit airport parking lot because evidently previous client dropped it off early. So, I was already paying extra just to get out of the parking lot. I’m now getting charged for tolls which I believe are inflated charges. That’s not what I saw on the toll signs. Not a good experience.
