Holds up on gas greatly. Unfortunately, the brakes were not done, the tire sensors were missing on the vehicle, and the car smells like someone had smoked marijuana right before I got in it. I notified owner of vehicle and she brushed it off by just saying thanks for letting me know have a nice trip. All while the vehicle being a non-smoking vehicle.

I would not rent from this host again. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The vehicle I originally booked appeared to have been double-booked, which created unnecessary stress and inconvenience at the beginning of the trip. When I got to the replacement car, it had a very strong marijuana smoke odor that made it almost unbearable to drive.
What was most disappointing was the host’s lack of follow-through afterward. Despite the issues and discussions about making things right, no partial refund or other meaningful resolution was ever provided. Instead, I was told that the smell was ozone treatment. Other small issues with the car included squeaky brakes, and a missing tpms sensor that caused a light to stay on the dash.
I understand that unexpected problems can happen, but communication, cleanliness, and honoring commitments are essential when renting through Turo. The car felt unsanitary to be in due to the smell. Based on my experience would not recommend booking this car or with this host.
