This rental fell well below acceptable standards. The pickup instructions were incorrect, the vehicle’s interior was badly deteriorated, and we experienced vibrations while driving and braking, along with a check-engine warning light. Unexpected fees and inadequate communication compounded the problems. I documented the issues and contacted Turo, but my complaint remains unresolved. After 30 years of renting cars, I expect better vehicle maintenance, transparency, and customer service especially being a luxury rental. I would hesitate to rent through Turo again.

We didn’t receive a message from you during the trip about the reported vibrations, braking, or check-engine light, so we couldn’t assist at the time. About an hour after I picked up the car, the low tire pressure warning came on, so I had to stop and put air in the tires. After that, the check engine light came on. I was really worried because I had a trip coming up that I couldn’t miss, and I was concerned that the car might not make it.
The car also has an issue with the brakes. There is a lot of damage both on the exterior and inside the car.
The pickup process itself was smooth and I had no problems with it.

The vehicle was returned with a flat tire, and inspection found a nail puncture sustained during your rental. This explains the loss of tire pressure. We take reports about the check engine light and brakes seriously and will have those concerns inspected.

Pick up was simple Car needs maintenance. USB port for car play is broken. Driver seat is worn badly, passenger seat is broken ( doesn’t fold for rear passengers. Breaks are squeaking, there’s tape to keep a button from peeling. Nice car other than the issues.
