We arrived to airport and was not told where the car would be located until i reached out myself. We then had to wait at the car until he arrived to give us a key. He stated the car had to get new tires, a deep clean and the spare key was lost all by the previous renter. Upon inspection the tires did not appear to be brand new, the car did not appear to recently deep cleaned, the outside of the car was not cleaned. These are minor things, just not sure why it was mentioned. We then had to wait for the host to take a bunch of pictures and claim we didn’t need to upload our own (which we did regardless). Once we got to the place we were staying we noticed when we put the top back on & windows up, the back windows did not roll up all of the way. I immediately messaged the host & he sent me a picture of it previously happening to another customer, and told me to “pull the back windows up”, they were off track.

When returning the car, we filled up and headed to the airport, the car was slightly & I mean slightly under the full tank line, & I was then charged $20 to refill and a “service” charge. I reached out to the host, and was left on read. I would understand if the tank was significantly lower but not barely a gallon, to charge $20 for that is ridiculous.

Overall disappointing customer service experience. The car itself was nice and did what we needed. But it was definitely more worn down than the pictures lead.

It was a great trip, we were very happy with the car and the host was super helpful and very professional. The Turo app was super easy to use and very helpful since this was the first time using Turo. I would rent through this host and Turo again!!
