I’ve never dealt with anything like this before on Turo. I’ve been renting through Turo for about two years, and every car I’ve rented has been a great experience. This is the second time I’ve rented from this host, and for the second time, the check engine light came on around the fifth day of my trip. That’s extremely concerning.
On top of that, the car has a burning smell, which makes me question whether it’s even safe to drive. I don’t know what’s going on, but something clearly isn’t right. This situation is unprofessional, and I shouldn’t have to worry about the condition of a vehicle I’m paying to rent.
I would like this issue addressed immediately, and I believe a discount or partial refund is appropriate given the inconvenience and safety concerns.
