Great host and a smooth experience all around. Super communicative, flexible, and accommodating throughout the trip, which I really appreciated. The car got me where I needed to go and the whole rental process was easy. Would definitely book with him again! 5/5.

Everything was perfect from start to finish! Sergei was an excellent host—great communication, very professional, and made the entire rental process smooth and easy. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. I would definitely rent from Sergei again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Turo experience!
Thank you for everything. The car was very comfortable and easy to drive, which made the trip much more enjoyable. I also appreciated how smooth and stress-free the whole rental process was. I would gladly rent from you again in the future.
Great Tesla. Easy to drive very safe. The gentlemen provided fast easy rental process. Will definitely recommend.
Nice car, good price, easy to pull up and drop off. Would definitely recommend!

This was the best experience I've had since I began using Turo several years ago for my travels. Aside from the very reasonably-priced rental rate for his car, my host, Sarkis, was SO nice, stayed in communication with me throughout the entire rental process, and went out of his way to be extremely accommodating. He actually delivered his car to the LAX airport for us and brought us back to the LAX airport for our departure! That's in Los Angeles, folks ... unpredictable drivers, crazy, busy freeways and bumper-to-bumper traffic. I mean ... who does that?? I'll tell you who does ... my super host, Sarkis, does! I highly recommend him if you find yourself needing a car in Los Angeles. He really is the best!
I rented this car for five days, and it was a great experience. The owner was very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole rental process smooth and hassle-free. The car was very clean, well-maintained, and drove perfectly throughout my trip. I highly recommend renting it if you’re planning a road trip or exploring California. It was reliable, comfortable, and made the journey even more enjoyable.

Great car and very friendly host .. I would definitely rent the car again if I come to LA another time.

The car was perfect - and all the more special in manual. The engine noise behind your head from the 4 liter is unforgettable, and now that I am back home I am definitely missing it. Jonathan was easy to work with and did everything he said he would. That in itself is saying something today. I definitely enjoyed the rental and hope that it’s around the next time I’m in LA.

The car was in great condition, no issues, very well maintained, smelled nice, and overall amazing on fuel economy. Will most definitely rent from Leo again.

Service and responses were fast, car was clean and drove like a dream! Gas mileage was a plus and it was surprisingly quick! Would rent again!

Car was fantastic and loved the ride. Host was awesome and very friendly to work with. Definitely will rent again if in the area.
We had the best day in LA. Thank you to Rodrigo for a flawless car and service. We created many memories thanks to you.
Host was amazing and so communicative. I would 10/10 rent this car again. It drove really smooth and he was nice and made the process really seamless.

Downey was a great host. I really like that the family did business and I would absolutely rent from them again. The car was in great shape.

Who is monthly car rental in South Carolina for?
Just relocated to South Carolina
Moving for a new job in the Upstate manufacturing corridor around Greenville, or for a role in Charleston's medical and aerospace world? You need a car the day you land, well before you're ready to buy one in an unfamiliar market. A monthly car rental in South Carolina bridges that gap, so you can settle in and learn the roads before committing to anything.
Lease just ended — or just sold your car
When your lease wraps up or your car finally sells, you don't have to rush into the next big purchase. A long term car rental in South Carolina keeps you driving while you decide, and you can extend month to month for as long as the in-between lasts. No pressure, no gap in your commute, no premature commitment.
Extended work assignment or traveling professional
Traveling nurses on assignment at MUSC or Prisma Health, contractors moving between project sites, and remote professionals settling in for a few months all need reliable wheels without a purchase. For stays this long, an extended car rental in South Carolina tends to be more competitive than a short-term rental, and you book it all from your phone.
Post-college or first car
Fresh out of USC or Clemson and not ready for a loan? A monthly car rental in South Carolina gets you a dependable everyday car without a long-term commitment or a heavy down payment. There's no extensive credit history required, so a thin credit file and a tight budget don't stand between you and getting on the road.
Flying into the Lowcountry for an extended stay? You'll find monthly and long term car rental options near Charleston International Airport (CHS) in North Charleston, the busiest airport in the state. It's a practical starting point when you're arriving to begin a work contract, a relocation, or a longer project in the Charleston area.
Greenville and the wider Upstate run on the manufacturing corridor along I-85, with dense work and residential areas that draw people relocating for the long haul. A monthly car rental here suits someone living and working in the region day to day — commuting, running errands, and settling in — rather than passing through as a tourist.
As the state capital and home to the University of South Carolina, Columbia mixes government, medical, and campus life in the center of the state. That makes it a natural base for monthly renters — new hires, students, and professionals on longer assignments who need dependable wheels for weeks or months at a time.

A few local pointers go a long way when you're renting for a month or more in South Carolina, from finding the best rate to knowing the roads between the coast and the Upstate.
Set the duration filter to your full stay, since rentals on Turo get cheaper the longer you book, and trips of 30 days or more unlock the deepest discounts. Browse by price range to match your budget, and book in advance when you can — planning early gives you more affordable everyday cars to choose from.
Start with how you'll actually drive in South Carolina. Prioritize fuel efficiency for a long commute, comfort for daily use, and enough cargo or passenger room for your needs. Reliable everyday cars — sedans, compact SUVs, and hatchbacks — tend to be the smart pick for a monthly stay, not flashy extras you won't use.
Two interstates carry most of the state: I-26 links Columbia and Charleston, while I-85 runs through the Upstate. If you're new here, expect a real range of driving, from coastal Lowcountry streets to busier Upstate corridors. Near the coast, plan for heavier seasonal beach traffic on summer weekends and leave a little extra time.
For a longer stay, look into monthly parking garages downtown and residential permit zones in Charleston and Columbia, where street space fills up fast. Smaller Upstate cities are generally easier, with more street parking available. Sorting out where you'll park for the month early saves you a headache once you're settled in.
Good news for monthly renters: South Carolina has very little tolling, so tolls rarely factor into a longer stay here. The main corridors you'll drive, I-26 and I-85, are toll-free. There's no statewide toll network to plan around, which keeps your day-to-day driving costs simple and predictable across the state.
Gas stations are easy to find statewide, so fueling up on a monthly rental is rarely a concern. If you're driving an electric car, public charging clusters in Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, with more stations appearing along the I-26 and I-85 corridors — worth mapping out ahead of a longer stay if you go electric.
Expect practical everyday vehicles built for real life in South Carolina — reliable sedans, fuel-efficient compact cars, and family-friendly SUVs. You'll see mainstream makes like Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, and Nissan among the monthly listings, so you can match the car to your commute, your passengers, and your budget without paying for extras you don't need.

About 60% of available monthly supply in South Carolina is priced under $800 per month, with a median around $1,300 per month. You'll see the total price before you book — no hidden fees, no surprise charges at the end.
Rentals on Turo get cheaper the longer you book, so a monthly car rental in South Carolina costs less per day than a short trip would. Trips of 30 days or more unlock the deepest discounts, and you'll see the total price before you book — no hidden fees and no down payment. Compare that to owning, where AAA puts the cost of a new car at more than eleven thousand dollars a year.
You can rent a car in South Carolina for a single month or stretch it across several, choosing the timeline that fits your plans. Many drivers pick a three, six, or nine month stay. If your situation changes, you can extend a long term car rental in South Carolina rather than committing to a fixed contract from the start.

Usually, yes. A long term car rental in South Carolina costs less per day than a short-term one, because rentals on Turo get cheaper the longer you book. Yes. You can rent a car for a month in South Carolina and stop there, with no multi-year contract and no obligation to keep going. No — you don't need a strong credit history to rent a car for a month in South Carolina. That makes a monthly rental a realistic option if your credit file is thin or you'd rather skip a hard credit pull.
For a one to three month need in South Carolina, monthly car rental on Turo can come in well below leasing once you account for a lease's down payment, monthly payment, and the maintenance that comes with keeping the car. You also skip the multi-year commitment entirely. With transparent, all-in pricing shown before you book, you know your full cost upfront — no surprise fees waiting at the end.
