Despite everything that happened during my trip, I have nothing but positive things to say about this host. The vehicle was exactly as described, and the host was patient, understanding, and responsive throughout an incredibly stressful situation.

Unfortunately, during my trip I lost my phone, wallet, and the vehicle key while out at a local park. I had to suspend my phone line and spent the entire day retracing my steps, hoping someone had turned in the key. Thankfully, an honest person found it and returned it to me that evening. Because of everything that happened, I ended up returning the vehicle a full day late. I sincerely apologize again for the inconvenience this caused.

Just before returning the car, I stopped for gas and the vehicle wouldn’t start. I thought the battery had died and even called AAA. The technician discovered the starter had been remotely disabled. I contacted the host, who responded quickly and reactivated the vehicle so I could complete the return without any further issues.

This was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had, but none of it was the fault of the host. They were professional, helpful, and understanding from beginning to end. If I could make one small suggestion for future renters, it would be to attach the key to a keychain or even an AirTag while you’re using the vehicle. It could save someone from going through what I experienced.

I truly appreciate the host’s patience and understanding. I’m just grateful I was able to find the key and return the vehicle safely. Now I have to replace my phone, driver’s license, and everything else that was lost, but I’m thankful the trip ended without damage to the vehicle.

This car was perfect for my needs this weekend and this was the 2nd time renting with these all-star hosts! The hosts are friendly and responsive. They give clear and understandable instructions on pick-up and drop-off. Bluetooth worked with my phone, CD player was great, the car ran well and felt safe. I recommend them! Thank you!!

Pros - Hosts were great, quick response time, clean car, and clear instructions. Cons - Too many instructions, complications with the garage gate, pretty old car for the price, uncomfortable ride, gas mileage was not good, I prob won’t be using this service again. I could’ve paid just a little more at a typical rental car place for an easier time and newer car. Good experiment tho. Just not for me. Sorry to the hosts.
