The car was riding funny would not start for at least 30 minutes I was late to my meeting, the sun roof does not work, smell Tabacoo, alcohol was left inside the trunk

The car was dirty upon picking it up: there was brown liquid in the upholders, sticky substances on the control panel and under the stereo, and trash left in the center console from the previous renter. There was a check engine light on upon picking up the car and when I mentioned it to the host he said this was a known issue related to the exhaust and to just ignore it - that feels quite unprofessional. I believe that known issue was the host attempting to make the car sound louder since in reality it is just a four cylinder car but people expect a loud muscle car when renting a Mustang. The front end also made a squeaky noise that was a bit concerning when turning at driving speeds.
Lastly the car is very uncomfortable, I do blame the host but for anyone interested in a long trip beware, the bucket seat will make your back scream.
Thanks, we had exhaust issue but it was hard to get it fixed before ur trip & some guest liked the sound. We got it all fixed now. Moreover, I checked on cleaning & from trip photos, it clear that it was thoroughly clean & cleaning supplies were used. I also see photos in ur pics as well. As a host, it’s best to take pics so I can refer my cleaning team. Even at pickup if anything is concerning we can address. The seat comfort level is vendor specific & most sporty cars are same

The battery on the fob was low that many times it wouldn’t even notice that the key was in the car. The right rear window would not close evenly with the front window. There was a check engine light the entire trip, and was told to not accelerate because there was a hole in the tail pipe which also cause the noise to be really loud. The convertible button had to be held down the entire time in order for it to go down. The amount of air freshener in the car was gag-worthy. The car was parked in Parking Garage G for us when owner knew we would be coming from Delta and it took us nearly 45 minutes to get to the car.
Apologies for the key fob low battery. However, the glass is Ford bug, dealership suggested to close the gap manually since there isn’t a fix for it. Moreover, holding the convertible button is also related to manufacturer. We don’t build these cars & only rent them out. Further, we are only allowed to park Garage A/G & both are at the corners of SFO. This s also Turo Policy. Rating a host on these are not justified.
