Overall, a decent rental experience. Pickup was easy, and the car did what I needed it to do for the trip.
There were a few things that could definitely be improved. The car was noticeably noisy and sounded like it may have a small exhaust leak. The interior could also use a thorough professional detail, as there was a strong odor and several surfaces felt sticky and generally in need of a deep clean.
Communication with the host was okay, although I did have to follow up a couple of times to get responses. I had also seen other reviews mentioning that the host was flexible, but that wasn’t really my experience. My return flight was delayed, so I asked whether I could keep the car for a few additional hours rather than paying for another full day. There were no scheduled rentals showing for the vehicle that day, but the request was declined unless I paid for the additional day. Completely understandable from the host’s perspective, but still a little disappointing given the circumstances.
Nothing about the experience was a dealbreaker, and the car was reliable throughout the trip. With some attention to the interior, the vehicle noise, and communication, this could easily be a much better rental experience.

The delivery was quick and easy and besides being a little loud in the cabin (exhaust related, maybe?) it ran well and efficiently, offering good gas mileage, especially highway miles.
