The customer service, arranging pickup /drop off and communication were top tier 5 stars.
Driver seat had black duct tape to cover/fix a tear in the black leather seat cushion so felt a little run down instead of nice big sedan.
Unfortunately the car maintenance was an issue. Found there no windshield wiper fluid when I went to spray the front to clean the view - this gave me pause because if that simple thing is not topped off, what else is not being maintained on this car… I found out soon enough when halfway through the trip the tire pressure sensor light came on. Luckily I was visiting family and borrowed a tire pressure gauge and found the two rear tires only had 15 PSI - used family emergency inflator to get them up to 35 lbs. This stressed me out the rest of the trip because I was not sure if the tires had slow leaks or what. I needed to drive this car over 300 miles for long Mother’s Day weekend and did not enjoy worrying about this.
First time using Turo - had an offer from my credit card company so I tried it.. I would not expect this with a large rental car company or if the tire thing had come up I would have called and gotten a different car from a nearby location. Since this was the first time using Turo, was not sure of options so just rode it out. Fun and comfortable big hybrid but a little stressful.
