I ended this trip on Wed. Texted the owner that I had to end the rental early ,he replied that he was out of town and couldn't accept the car until he returned.

I was out of town when he requested to end the trip two days before it ends, and I wasn’t able to accept the request due to having to inspect the car 24hrs after the trip ends otherwise it won’t be qualified for coverage if there was any damages.
