Overall, the car was clean, comfortable, and had no mechanical issues. My main concern was the difficulty of finding convenient charging stations, which made the experience more challenging than expected. Because of that, I would personally choose a gas-powered vehicle for future rentals.
I also had some issues with the pickup and return instructions. The instructions were provided at the last minute, even though I travel frequently and typically receive clear instructions well in advance. This caused unnecessary stress and nearly resulted in me missing my flight because I didn’t have the information I needed to return the vehicle on time.
When I attempted to return the car to the same location where I picked it up, I discovered that it was inside a parking garage that I could not access. I contacted Turo, and they instructed me to leave the vehicle in a safe area near the original pickup location.
Overall, while the vehicle itself was nice and reliable, the charging difficulties and lack of timely pickup/return instructions made the rental experience less convenient than I expected.
