Grant is the best host ever!!! I rented it for 6 days for a trip.
He uses OLD RETREAD tires for his rental car. The car was shaking a little while I was driving, but I had a tight schedule, so I headed out and messaged him about it. He said the car was in great condition. The second day, while I was driving on the highway, one of the tires was SEPARATED! Not broken, not flat, but SEPARATED! I was very lucky not to get injured or killed. And I received a call from the nicest person, who said, "What did you do to my car?" You as*h***! F*** you! You motherf***er, you go back NOW, or I will call the police, report the car is stolen, and I will FIND you". What a great greeting after the scary accident.
I called Turo service; I don't feel safe driving it. Turo towed the car away. I had to find another solution to finish the trip while I was in another state.
Grant seems to have 9 cars on Turo. Be careful driving them, and don't drive too far, or you may receive the best greetings from him.

Awful experience. When I asked the car owner about dropping off my vehicle there to pick up the rental. He said yes parking was available, but he didn’t say it was at $40 a day. I only found that out when I dropped off my Vehicle. He should have been up front about the parking situation there .

I provide vehicles for rental through Turo. I’m not sure why this person feels responsible to provide parking for a separate vehicle while he rents mine. Parking on the street in Savannah costs $30 per day. Sundays and holidays are free. There are also many areas in Savannah where you can park for free on the street that are less than a 10 minute walk to my pick up location. This person never asked about parking prior to pick up or I certainly would have informed him of the cost of parking.
