The Camaro convertible delivered the experience I was looking for and was enjoyable for driving the Northern California coast with the top down. It's a 2015 vehicle, so I expected some wear and tear, and the car was functional throughout my trip.
My main concern was that the listing did not accurately represent the vehicle's condition. The listing had very few photos and none of the interior, so I wasn't able to get a realistic sense of the car before booking. While I expected an older vehicle, the actual condition showed considerably more wear than I anticipated, including worn interior components, minor upholstery tears, tape repairs, chipped trim pieces, and an exhaust leak. The exterior was also not especially clean at pickup.
I don't mind renting an older vehicle, and I understand this isn't a commercial rental fleet. I just think the listing would benefit from more complete and current photos so renters can make an informed decision and have expectations that match the vehicle they're receiving.
